2008 March > Winter Walkathon

Friends of the Roxborough Greenbelt and the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee hosted a 3 km walkathon to conserve the downtown urban forest adjacent to Junction Creek. Along the walk, people enjoyed snow sculptures, a scavenger hunt snowshoeing and hot drinks. All funds raised, will be part of a community contribution establishing the Roxborough Greenbelt as public greenspace.
