2008 November > CIBC Run for the Cure The 11th Annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s CIBC Run for the Cure was another great success this year. This year’s event was held at Cambrian College and raised $234,000, $4,000 more than last year’s total. A beautiful fall day made for ideal conditions as participants had the opportunity to walk or run a 1km or 5km route. Many community volunteers helped out in many different ways, whether it was event planning, organizing, promoting, fundraising or lending a hand at the event itself. Anyone who is interested in learning about volunteering, donating or fundraising can visit: www.cbcf.org or www.cibcrunforthecure.com.
