2008 November > Cambrian Women's FREE Car Workshop During the month of October a group female college students (automotive) and other female college personnel headed down to Cambrian College’s Automotive Lab to learn some pointers about basic car maintenance and safety tips. Teamed with Part Source, the Women’s Centre and the Cambrian Motive Power program, these attentive students learned many helpful insights into keeping their vehicles safe and road worthy. Whether it was how to interpret a vehicles IPC gauge, how to inspect for proper fluid levels or how to identify tire problems-each participant learned some new facts and had a fun time doing it in a relaxed atmosphere. Students were asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the SAC Student Food Bank as part of the event.
