2008 November > 2nd Annual Therapy Dog Conference

It was a Saturday for the dogs-and dog lovers-as they met up for the 2nd Annual Therapy Dog Conference recently at Northeastern Elementary School in Garson. Canine appreciators came out to take part in the St John Ambulance Therapy Dog Division’s Fun Fur Facts program. Throughout the day participants gathered in the school’s cafeteria and gymnasium to take in workshops on topics such as Pet First Aid, Keeping Fido Young and What Your Canine Can Teach You. The dogs and owners also had the opportunity to participate in an outdoor agility workshop. Everyone who attended learned some neat new techniques and procedures to help build their relationship with their pets.
