2008 November > Area Credit Unions give back! This past summer local Credit Unions hosted their 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Each year they pick a different charity with this year’s recipient being the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. All money raised in the tournament is used to support diabetes research as well as local diabetes support, education, awareness and service programs on nutrition, exercise and healthy diabetes management for people living in northeastern Ontario.
