Sofie Manarin Nickel Loppet

A special sports treat for us. The Nickel Loppet, named after the late champion skiier Sofie Manarin, took place at the Laurentian Ski Trails as the first event in the Sudbury Fitness Challenge. Five past Canadian Champions, including Sofie, have been in the Nickel Loppet. Skiers of all ages participated in 1, 2, 7, 14 & 30 km races and in a race for Paranordic skiiers.
